Jira integration

The integration with JIRA allows you to submit tasks directly through Unrubble.

  1. Enable Tasks on your account if you haven’t already - Tasks

Enabling the Tasks feature in settings

  1. Connect to JIRA. Go to Organization Settings > Integrations and configure the JIRA connection.
  2. Authorize the integration by clicking the Authorize button.
  3. On the Atlassian authorization screen, if you have more than one resource/site, select the one you want to grant access to in Unrubble.
  4. After connecting, activate the selected resource first, and then activate the projects. A project can only be activated after its resource has been activated.
  5. In the Tasks & Work Statuses view, you will see the tasks imported from JIRA. These tasks are automatically synchronized using webhooks sent from JIRA to Unrubble.

However, if you want to manually fetch the latest data, click the button on the JIRA configuration screen or click the timestamp shown in Tasks & Work Statuses (synchronization info).

  1. Tasks imported from external services cannot be modified directly in Unrubble — only in the main service (JIRA).

During import, the assignees are matched based on the email address of the JIRA user and compared to the email addresses in the Unrubble account. If no matching email is found, the task will remain unassigned.

  1. Clicking on an imported task will display a preview of related data, including links to the task, project, and resource in the JIRA application.
