# Time snapping

The Unrubble application enables the use of an automatic time snapping of the Clock In & Clock Out. This allows you to eliminate the so-called "Minutes" of working time.

## Time snapping

The option is available in `Settings` (account icon in the upper right corner) > `Automation` section on the left side.
Enabling the option in the "Time snapping" section will activate additional options to choose from.

### Options available:
1. `Shift’s planned start time` - Allow to snap ${color}[#62c03b](**Clock In**) to planned start time in schedule.

2. `Shift’s planned end time` - Allow to snap ${color}[#fe6f5e](**Clock Out**) to planned end time in schedule.

### How to interval works (third option)?
➡️ Interval _30min_ divides each hour of the day into 2 intervals, that is 8:00-8:30 first interval, 8:30-9:00 second interval, etc.
➡️ Interval for event ${color}[#62c03b](**Clock In**) rounds event forward to the nearest end of the interval.
➡️ Interval for event ${color}[#fe6f5e](**Clock Out**) rounds event back to the nearest start of the interval.

Time setting options:
* `Time window` - refers to event ${color}[#62c03b](**Clock In**) i ${color}[#fe6f5e](**Clock Out**) when choosing the option to snap to the work schedule.
* `Half the time window` - applies to the selected time above and divides it in half and sets this half of the time to the tolerances below - disable this option to set your own tolerances below.
* `Rounding value` - refers to event ${color}[#62c03b](**Clock In**) i ${color}[#fe6f5e](**Clock Out**) when choosing intervals.
* `Half the rounding value` - applies to the selected time above and divides it in half and sets this half of the time to the tolerances below - disable this option to set your own tolerances below.
* `Lateness tolerance` - refers event ${color}[#62c03b](**Clock In**) for the benefit of the employee.
* `Early exit tolerance` - refers event ${color}[#fe6f5e](**Clock Out**) for the benefit of the employee.

💡 Examples of the time snapping, system will display after selecting the appropriate times in the settings.

Additionally, for illustration, an example below:
✨ An interval of 30 minutes with the set tolerance of _Clock-in_ `Lateness tolerance` and _Clock-out_ `Early exit tolerance` for 15 minutes:
